From my experience seeing Dr. Arkady Selenow at Manhattan Vision Associates, I would give him a five-star rating for the following reasons. I would also rate is staff and team the same way.
My visit was regarding dry eye syndrome. He provided me with a great deal of information on the subject which helped me understand the workings of my eyes and how to approach improving the situation. I experience all the important attributes of a good physician, patience, clear and unrushed communication, friendly and warm personality, and compassion. I would highly recommend Dr. Arkady Selenow.

I've been seeing Dr. Selenow and his team for close to 15 years after being diagnosed with Iridocorneal endothelial syndrome (ICE) - an extremely rare condition with no known resolution. Dr. Selenow and his staff, from the front desk to the techs have been the consumate professionals throughout those 15 years. It takes a high degree of skill, patience and care to get data on eyes that take 10 minutes instead of 30 seconds to read and I have always felt understood and cared for. While most doctors I have had experience with are prescriptive, Dr. Selenow is adaptive. He takes the time to listen and to test to ensure that my eyes are cared for in the best possible manner. 15 years is a long time for any relationship. I'm hoping this one goes for another 15!
