Dr. Kim, Director of Clinical Services at Queens Eye Associates, graduated with High Honors from State University of New York College of Optometry in 1997. She was the recipient of the Esther J. Werner Memorial Award for Academic Excellence in 1997, the William Tullo, Sr. Memorial Award in Optics for Outstanding Performance in Optics in 1997, and the Schnurmacher Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement from 1993 to 1997. Dr. Kim completed her post-graduate residency training specializing in Primary Care at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1998 where she trained both students and faculty on cutting-edge diagnostic techniques and lead grand rounds presentations on very rare and complex clinical cases. Dr. Kim has extensive experience and clinical training in ocular pathology management of glaucoma, cataracts, and corneal and retinal disease, as well as in specialty contact fittings, pediatric eye care, emergency eye care, and pre-and post-surgical management of cataract, corneal, and refractive surgery. She is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa (International Optometric Honors Society), the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.
