DR. ARKADY SELENOW, OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Arkady Selenow, an internationally accomplished lecturer and author, received extensive training in patient management with Excimer lasers and LASIK in Canada prior to its introduction in the U.S. He was in the forefront in bringing LASIK to the New York area and has become a leader in the management and care of LASIK patients, having co-managed more than 3,500 cases over the past several years. Dr. Selenow is a Co-Investigator for CRS (Corrective Refractive Surgery)-VISX Hyperopia LASIK Research Study.

As well as specializing in helping difficult-to-fit contact lens patients, Dr. Selenow is an expert in vision therapy who has taught aspiring optometrists at SUNY College of Optometry for 20 years. After completing his residency at SUNY he spent his internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C., and has since received fellowships from both the American and New York Academies of Optometry.

In addition to co-directing Manhattan Vision Associates and Queens Eye Associates, Dr. Selenow is one of the founding faculty of the Institute for Vision Research.


Dr. STEVEN R. ALI, OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Steven Ali was among the first to introduce LASIK Laser Vision Correction to the New York area, and is a leader in the management of LASIK patients. He has co-managed more than 3,500 LASIK cases, and is a Co-Investigator for CRS- (Corrective Refractive Surgery) VISX Hyperopia LASIK Research Study.

Dr. Ali received extensive training in patient management with Excimer lasers and LASIK Laser Vision Correction in Canada prior to its introduction in the United States. He is a frequent lecturer about LASIK to professional and public groups.

Also a lecturer and consultant at many Fortune 500 companies such as Bausch and Lomb and Wessley Jensen, Dr. Ali has been on staff at several New York area hospitals. He has been published on the topic of learning-related vision problems and has more than 1,000 hours of continuing education in ocular disease diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Ali completed his residency at SUNY College of Optometry where he went on to become Associate Clinical Professor. He is a co-director of Manhattan Vision Associates and Queens Eye Associates, and has recently been elected chairman of the TLC Advisory Board.
